Our annual Fair Trade event is taking place soon! Check out our Facebook event page. Here’s some information from it:
FREE admission! On Saturday afternoon, November 16th, join us for our 8th annual shopping event – formerly called Justice Rocks, now named “SHOP TO STOP Human Trafficking” – where you have the opportunity to purchase fantastic fair trade and ethically produced merchandise – made without slave labor and providing economic empowerment for those at risk. The event will feature vendors selling home goods, jewelry, art, handbags, woodwork, and much more! As well as FREE fair-trade coffee, refreshments, and a door prize! The best way to get your holiday shopping done!!
This year, all proceeds from the event will benefit New Light Nepal’s Trafficking Awareness programs. They offer training in villages across Nepal, thwarting traffickers, raising awareness, providing education and resources to families at risk.
