Clothing Ministry In Action

She is clothed with strength and dignity;

she can laugh at the days to come.

Prov. 31:25

 One of the most immediate needs of a rescued victim of human trafficking is something to wear. This need continues through the survivor’s restoration as she starts her life over, needing clothing for job interviews, court appearances, even every day living.

Based on the verse in Proverbs 31:25, Clothed With Strength and Dignity is an ongoing ministry of Justice Network.  We extend love to survivors of sex trafficking by providing clothing. We collect, organize, and distribute new or gently used casual and business clothes in all sizes. Our prayer is that the clothes will provide the survivors with dignity in their outer appearance while God works in their hearts to strengthen them and completely heal and restore them on the inside.

At our Justice Rocks event, we delivered clothing to two ministries (Unshattered and Here, There, & Everywhere). Then two weeks ago, a team from Justice Network delivered clothing to

RestoreNYC. In addition to the bags of clothes, we provided gifts to the residents including international calling cards. Since the residents of Restore are foreign nationals, these cards are treasured because they allow the women to be in touch with their families overseas. The majority of the residents there are mothers who thought they were coming to the US to provide for their children, only to find they were tricked by their traffickers.

For more information about this valuable ministry, please see our Clothed With Strength and Dignity page. In addition to clothing, we collect gift cards to Target, Walmart, and Visa (for items women need immediately upon rescue), international calling cards, and NYC Metro Cards.
